Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) applies loads and calculates deflections, stresses and strains within the part.

This allows for design improvements to be made without needing to have expensive protoype parts made and tested.

Areas of high stress can be identified and strengthened, while areas of low stress can have excess material removed, resulting in a lighter, stronger design.

FEA can be used to calculate modal frequencies of vibration to help solve your noise and vibration problems. It can also be used to apply dynamic loads and determine their effects, which are often significantly greater than that of static loads.

We can also take care of more complex non linear and large deformation simulations such as impact, drop test and crash scenarios.
